Hello my readers. Even though I love writing in this blog more than most things in my life, I will be taking a vacation , for the summer. I just got done a very big show with the company I work for and couldn't blog at all when I really wanted to. That stressed me out and I was sad thinking about you all. Plus our family has quite a bit of activities this summer that honestly, I wont have the time to brainstorm, take pictures, research and then put my thoughts to computer. That wouldn't be fair to just post any old thing, just to get something out.

I am still on Instagram however and will do all of my sharing of my love and thoughts for Makeup, Skincare, Fashion, Nails, Jewelry, Music, Planners and anything I just love and have to share with my friends. Please follow me on Instagram if you aren't already.     I'm MS.CURLYGIRLBEAUTY.

I will be holding mini giveaways on my IG account so keep an eye out for that as well!!

I hope you all have a great summer and keep in contact through IG. Once my blog is back in action I will do a big giveaway to get everyone back in the swing of reading!

Talk to you at the end of summer! Take care and have a great one!! Xo        ~Tiara

This is seriously a product that I know I'd get the most use of because I usually wear minimal makeup. And if this makeup helps me look a little bit put together without feeling or looking like I put on a lot of makeup or spent a long time putting makeup on, then I am SOLD!

Let's just look up at this pretty little ensemble above.  When I first opened it, I was so excited of this palette, especially the (brighten) blush because it has such pretty glitter in it. Not a lot....and not big flecks. Small fine glitter. Oh so pretty.

Now, I purchased this on Sephora.com for $39.00.
What it is:
A complete kit to keep you looking naturally flawless on the go with concealer, luminizer, brightener, powder blush, crème blush, and bronzer.

What it does:
This multitasking face palette is your answer to creating the illusion of flawlessness. The collection is dedicated to complexion perfection—for a flawless “I was born perfect” look—any time of the day. With Too Faced’s signature how-to Glamour Guide included with three looks to get you started, the kit has everything you need to create a complete makeover, so it’s great for traveling or overnight stays.

This set contains:
- 0.28 oz Bronzing Veil
- 0.1 oz Crème Blush
- 0.11 oz Powder Blush
- 0.05 oz Concealer
- 0.06 oz Luminizer
- 0.05 oz Brightener

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens

What else you need to know:
This is a 100% cruelty-free product.

I think it's worth it if you need a little bit of all of these products. The colors in the pallet are very lovely but I do think they work best on people with pink under tones. I have yellow undertones, so it wasn't a PERFECT look, but nonetheless....I liked it.

This palette is a natural looking, semi-good value, great for luminous sheen, very creamy, great size-travel size, easy to use (comes with a little booklet of looks), long lasting...It's still on and I can even see the blush!! Most palette's the blush lacks in lasting long.

On my model above, this is her with only foundation on. Nothing else on. I started with the concealer, covering any blemishes or marks. Then I applied the luminous concealer under her eyes, bridge of nose and above her cupid's bow. I then applied the bronzing veil, which in my opinion, is for very light colored skin. I have to use quite a bit of it on my model and on myself. Last I applied the Brighten Blush.

I added a little bit of eyeshadow and lined lightly her eyes with brown eyeshadow for a completed look.

The 3 pictures above are the final look. She loved it because she usually doesn't wear any makeup. I definitely have to say this gives a polished no makeup look....100%. This palette is for the person that doesn't wear much makeup, is unsure how to wear makeup, or just wants to look put together without spending too much time on getting ready.

For the more mature skin, this is me. Above I have no make up on other than my eyebrows are filled in.

Above in the two pictures, you can see a big difference, yet, I still look like I hardly have much makeup on. I did add a little pit of silver eyeshadow to go along with my dress. However, everything else is from this great palette.

Now, I will mention one negative and that is the amount of the Bronzing Veil. Because it is so light, I feel like I used a ton of it just to give my skin some color. So either if there were a range of colors OR more product...I would be fine with.

Hope this posting helps. Hope you all are having a great day. Thanks for stopping by!! Talk to ya soon! Xo!!

These four brushes are my most favorite eye brushes that I own. I usually use these four brushes every time I apply eye shadows.  Something about the four together....help my shadows look fabulous.

First, I have mature skin. I am 42 years old and my skin isn't what it used to be when I was 24. I also have deep set/hooded eyes as well.  So, it can be challenging to put on makeup just as almost everyone else does.

I have always had a hard time finding the "right" brushes for my eye shape. After 20 years, I think I've finally found the perfect brushes.

All four brushes are from Sigma. I've tried numerous high end and low end brushes and these were the only ones that work on a consistent basis. So most of my every day brushes, for every use, is by Sigma.

The E37 is an All Over Blend. The E37 All Over Blend™ features a firm rounded brush head great for softening harsh lines and buffing out dark colors for a well-blended effect. Best for going over your entire lid to blend any harsh lines when mixing more than one shade. I purchased this on Sigma's Website for $16.00. Not to bad to have my shadows all nicely blended!!

The F63 is an Airbrush Blender. The F63 Airbrush Blender™ features a firm, yet soft brush head with a slightly rounded tip. Use this brush with cream or liquid products anywhere on the face for an airbrushed effect. Delivers an airbrushed application of concealer for a diffused, well-blended finish. I purchased this on Sigma's Website for $16.00. Great price to help blend my concealer &/or cream shadows with an airbrushed effect!!!

The E59 is the Wide Shader. I use this to pack on the eye shadow colors I'm going to be using most of...on my whole entire lid. The E59 Wide Shader features a wide, flat and slightly rounded synthetic brush head to easily cover the whole lid with a single color for a quick natural look. I purchased this brush on Sigma's Website for $16.00 as well.

Lastly, but certainly not least, the E20 which is the Short Shader brush. The E20 Short Shader features a small, soft brush head great for smudging out color along the lash line. Offers superb control when applying color to very small areas of the eye. I personally use this brush to go in and make a distinct line to make it look like my mobile lid is a little bit wider what I have. Hence, it helps with my deep set eyes, to bring them out! I purchased this brush on Sigma's Website for $14.00.

I purchased all my sigma brushes in Chrome. Sigma also puts brushes in groups and sells them at a cheaper price. Please make sure you check all the packages they offer to see if you can find a better deal.

Hope this post helps those of you who may have issues with finding the perfect brushes. They are definitely worth the money! Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day and talk with you soon! Xo!

This concealer pen I have is 3 Up All Night. It is 2.5ml/.08 fl. oz. of product which I purchased from Sephora for $39.00. To me, this price is out of my price range but everyone I love watching on YouTube and everyone I love reading their blogs, had raved about it. So, I had to give it a try. I honestly wasn't thinking too much of it, only because I had tried Marc Jacob's Genius Gel Supercharged Foundation and HATED IT! No matter what technique I used to apply, no matter what primer or no primer, it just looked.....horrible. So, I went into this without letting my hopes get to high.

This all-in-one eraser, brightener and corrector is the perfect fix for the sins of a carefree youth (or just the aftermath of last night). Containing Remedy Complex™, a blend of hydrating and anti-aging ingredients, this next-generation concealer erases evidence of dehydration and fatigue. Remedy pen dispenses the perfect amount of product with just one click.

Here are the highlights of this pen:
• Contains Remedy Complex™, an anti-aging blend of theine (caffine), collagen, vitamin water, and coconut extracts.
• Patented palladium applicator cools on contact, reducing puffiness.
• Two universal brightening and correcting shades flatter across skin tones.
• Hydrating, moisturizing, and anti-aging complex brightens, conceals, and soothes.

I believe there are 9 or 10 shades to choose from. Mine matched pretty well. It didn't really brighten anything but it covered pretty well. One pump definitely isn't enough for too much. The photo above is about 3-4 pumps and that's about the size it covers best. (below)

As you can see from the picture above, you can see the lines on my hand. It does the same on my face. I didn't like that at all. No matter what I did, it just melted into my fine lines. If you don't have any, I think this would really work well for you, but those of us that have some fine lines or more mature skin....I don't recommend this. For the price you pay, you need a little bit more than the suggested 1 pump to conceal. So, I feel this product will move faster than other concealer brands.

I honestly have drug store brands for less than $10, that in my opinion do a better job with my skin. It isn't horrible, as I do like that it covers my dark circles and blemishes. It's just the price, doesn't justify.

So, if you are younger with no fine lines....and can afford it - get it!! It's great for you. For those of us who are limited on makeup funds and have some lines on our faces - I'd skip this one.

Hope this was helpful to you gorgeous people. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day. Talk with you soon! Xo

I honestly don't know why Bare Minerals doesn't get more hype. I personally believe it's because people would rather have liquids and creams vs. using minerals/powders. I can understand that but EVERY TIME I've used Bare Minerals....I've fallen in love! I think every one should give them a good try.

The colors in this little duo are a pretty apricot nectar color called SHHH. It's a highly pigmented and matte which I love. Also a cinnamon brown shimmer that looks so beautiful with golden glitter specks! bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow provides vivid, pigment-packed color with seamless blendability that lasts up to 12 hours. Powered by our proprietary SeaNutritive Mineral Complex, it delivers skin-nourishing benefits including reduced appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and puffiness plus boosted moisture levels.

Some of the qualities I love about these eyeshadows are:

  • Exceptionally vivid, pure, provocative color
  • Long-wearing for up to 12 hours
  • Resists creasing, fading and smudging
  • Reduces the look of fine lines, wrinkles and puffiness
  • Helps to boost moisture levels to smooth and revitalize delicate eye area
  • Looks like a powder, feels like a cream and delivers skin-nourishing benefits.
  • Formulated without parabens, binders, fillers or harsh chemicals.

  • I purchased mine from my bareMinerals boutique for $20.00. It's 3 grams/.1 ounce. Because it's so pigmented you really don't use a lot each time. The blending capabilities are great, which is something I seriously consider with eyeshadows, because my skin is on the more mature side. You can order online on bareMinerals website as well.

I blew up the picture above so you could see the gorgeous golden colored shimmer! I am not one to put too much glitter on my eyes because of my age, but this is truly lovely!! It plays with the golden colors in my eyes as well. As far as my lasting power, I always use Tarte's clean slate creaseless eye primer with any eyeshadow I use. These shadows stayed on WELL over 12 hours! Very, very happy with my little duo.

Here are some pictures of me with these colors. I recommend bareMinerals eyeshadows to everyone!

Happy Memorial Day! I've been MIA from posting for a good reason. I've been on a mini vacation. :-D Unfortunately, I didn't have appropriate time for creating posts. I did however, take some pictures to share with you just a few highlights  of my vacation.

This vacation was all about relaxation. We didn't go away, but instead, took advantage of local trips.

My husband and I had both been wanting to go fishing because it had been a few weeks. The last few times we had gone, weren't too relaxing as well. Too many people. Thankfully this time....it was just us!

We went for a nice bike ride and had a picnic. Sitting in the shade with a nice breeze was so peaceful. We also sat on our porch, had a few cigars and a few cold ones.

Of course we had a BBQ. Steak was the main course. So lovely!!! We love hunting with bow and arrows so we sighted in our bows and did a bit of target practice.

One of my favorite parts of our vacation was the drinks we had and foods we ate. We hardly cooked! We had hoagies from our local Wawa, Mexican from our favorite resturants and fresh fruits! We drank our favorite drinks knowing we could enjoy knowing we didn't have to go to work.

But my favorite was waking up and going to bed whenever we wanted. I'm an early riser, so my husband would get up with me. My husband likes to stay up a little bit later so I'd (try) to stay up with him. We caught up on shows....my favorite right now, The Following. Anxious for Pretty Little Liars to come on. :-D

So, I have to say I missed blogging. I'm glad I'm back. Hope your weekend was great! Thanks for stopping by. Talk with you soon! Xo!

Brow Zings! Today I looked around my makeup room, trying to find that special thing to talk to you about. Even though I have too many things to choose from, I still had a hard time. Then underneath a few small palettes, I found my pretty Brow Zings! How I loved this when I used it. Yes, I've taken a small break from using it, but that is only because I have so many different products I try and then share my thoughts on each product with my friends and family. So, I am just happy to see this again and of course I have started using it again!

    Kit contains:
pigmented wax for shaping 1.7g Net wt. 0.06 oz
natural-shaded powder for setting 2.65g Net wt. 0.09 oz.
    discreet tweezers
    hard angle brush
    blending brush
    mirror
    complete lesson

This little kit is so easy to use. That is first thing that is amazing about it. Also, it looks so natural. I've tried different brands of eyebrow powders/wax and it gets a bit to harsh. I did not find that problem with this. This is also long lasting. I don't have a problem with it smearing off or slowly just leaving my face. It is very pigmented though so you don't need to put a lot of product on those little brushes...and let's talk about those little brushes. They are pretty good. I use them every single time. I have no complaints about them The little tweezer, honestly, I haven't even used because it's just so small I feel like my hand may get arthritis in it from holding it. LOL

I purchased this at Ulta but I have to tell you that this is a bit pricey. It is $32.00 for the pigmented wax which is: 1.7g Net wt. 0.06 oz. and the natural-shaded powder is: 2.65g Net wt. 0.09 oz. This may not look like a lot of product however, they are so pigmented and they work so well together that you hardly use anything each time. So I've heard people having this for over a year! So, to me it definitely is an investment but it's so easy and beautiful.

Above is just the powder. That is just one stroke.  The picture below is the wax over top of the powder. I made small strokes as if I were doing my eyebrows. So together, they work beautifully.

The picture below is me with the Brow Zings! My brows aren't the best but I think they look pretty good and when using Brow Zings, it's done in no time and they look natural.

I believe they have three shades. Light, medium and dark. I'd suggest going in and trying which one would work well for your brows. Mine is no doubt...dark. Matches perfectly. If you are in the market for a brow kit that is easy and long lasting, this is your kit.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are all having a great day. Talk to you soon! Xo

What if you were to die tomorrow? What would you wish you could do before you die? I have been thinking a lot about this. Have you? No matter what age you are, at some point (I advise you start when you are a young adult) you should think about making a bucket list. It's a great feeling to make a list of any kind and be able to cross things off and say "Did it!" What a feeling it is to do things that you've wanted to do all your life or that make you extremely fulfilled! I like that feeling and I want more, so I thought I'd start my bucket list.

So, I put together the start of my bucket list. I have ten that were no-brainers for me. I'm not going to put them in any order....let's just say if I can do any of these at anytime...I'll be ecstatic!!

    1.  Achieve MY ideal weight...and I DON'T mean my BMI weight. I think it was made back in the 1830's and they have changed it over time. I just want to be the weight size that I personally want to be.

    2.  I want to camp on the beach. I want to pitch our tent in the sand to hear the waves crashing all night. Watch the sun rise and the sun set. Breathing in that salt water ocean. Oh man. This just sounds like heaven!!

    3.  See the pyramids in Egypt. Actually not just see them, but tour them. Walk around them...feel them...stand next to them. To even just imagine, so long ago these men built these amazing pyramids...without any of the tools we have today. HOLY COW. I get goosebumps just thinking about it! Gotta see them!!

    4. See Prince in concert. Yes, I'll take a heapful of Prince...ANYDAY! I love me some Prince. Always have and always will. From the 70's even now...mm mmm mmmm. I don't care if I am in the nose bleed section or standing room only. I just want to hear him play and feel his awesome vibes! This to me is the same as if I could have seen Michael Jackson before he passed. Prince is god.

    5.  To see the two bands that gave me interest in music. Duran Duran and Def Leppard. Duran Duran was the very first band I EVER loved! When I listen to their music today, there is no other genre or band that I have listened to, that gives me the content feeling that I get when listening to Duran Duran.

Def Leppard was the band that changed my taste in music from pop/punk to Rock. Back then, they weren't even considered Rock it was HEAVY METAL!!!   \m/     <-- lol. To see them in concert would just be a dream of mine from when I was a young teenager. Such wonderful memories these bands gave me.

    6.  To eat pasta IN Italy! Which would mean...I'M IN ITALY! lol. I would just love to experience tasting pasta that was made from the country that made pasta taste as good as an orgasm. To hear Italian spoken, to be drinking Italian wine with my meal. This for me would be.... molto bene!

    7.  To see the Hobbit huts in New Zealand. I love Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. These little huts are so enchanting that it would be pure nostalgic for me! I love the country side, especially in countries such as England and Ireland. I must see New Zealand! So many films were filmed there. I want to see with my own eyes....why they chose New Zeland. :-D

    8.  To chase a tornado. Yep, you read that right. I have always wanted to chase a tornado ever since I was little watching Wizard of Oz. In the 90's I would purchase documentaries on tornados. I'd actually PURCHASE them. lol. I'm always looking at the sky and the clouds formation. I hope to do this soon.

    9.  Road trip across America in a mobile home. I think this is my #1 on my bucket list. I want to see every  'safe' area of the USA. See all the amazing historical features that are still here and 'living' for us to witness today! Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, Smoky Mountains, Niagara Falls and Kennedy Space Center....just to name VERY few.

    10.  Float in the Dead Sea. I've seen pictures and heard people talk about it that have gone and I just think that is so neat! Also, if I'm going to be able to get into the Dead Sea, I'd also like to visit Israel. Walk around where Jesus walked. See things that Jesus saw. This would be THE ultimate trip for me.

This was fun for me. Hope it was fun to read. Why don't you make one up for yourself. Keep it and I hope one day all your things are crossed off! Good luck and have a great rest of the day! Xo
