This beautiful lipstick is the cutest packaged lipstick in the world. I just cant stop staring at it in my beauty room. Is that weird? lol What is even better....is the smell! I tell you it smells like candy! A smell that makes me feel like a million bucks!

This my friends, is my favorite eye contour kit. I had purchased this at my local Ulta for $32.00. The very first time I bought this kit, when it came out....I fell INSTANTLY in love. First, Benefit's packaging is always the most beautiful packaging around!!!
That honestly is what drew me in originally. I mean, it's so cute and small. However when I opened it, and saw what was inside, I fell in love. The colors I KNEW immediately that they would look good with my eyes!
So what did I do? Yes, I swatched this baby to see if the pay off was good or a dud. I tested one...
This is a light pink color with lots of sparkle. One swipe and it was packed with color. Then I tested the light brown....
Oh yes...both are so sparkly and pretty. They are both just one swipe and I am left with all this product! Man oh man....Lastly, I tested the third color....the dark brown matte color....
So, the third color is amazing. Completely pigmented and I had no fall outs when I would apply it to my eyes. It really does contour my eyes in such a way, that this kit leaves my eyes sparkly and beautiful. This kit is my #1 kit!
Now, I have to say....I usually don't even bother using the brushes that come with any kit, but I did use these...and I actually liked them...both. Honestly this kit, you could use with your fingers, but if you are new to makeup or don't have the funds for brushes...these brushes for this kit, are fine!
Benefit's website is amazing. I love going there and just reading everything they have up on there. There is a link that illustrates a step-by-step lesson on how to apply this kit. It's very helpful for people who need a little assistance with application or for some ideas.

When I wear this kit, my makeup lasts all day! When I take off my makeup for the night, I have such a hard time getting everything off! Nothing too crazy....but I love that I don't have to touch up during the day. I have oily eyelids too! I just apply some Shadow Insurance....and I'm good to go!!

This my dear, is a product that I have included in my go to assortment. This is a must have no matter what! Even if it's a lazy day, and I have to run out to the post office....I will do these brows of mine! (Yes, you can thank me now) I have tried pretty much every brow product on the market and NOTHING compares to this beautiful pencil.
First, let me describe my brows. Before I turned the ripe old age of 12, I used to have Groucho Marx eyebrows. This is him below-
So, since I was so young, I didn't know how to properly apply makeup or do my naturally curly hair. Plus, we are talking the 80's here! Makeup was a little....off. lol So throughout the years, I kept up my small thin eyebrows. Until about the age 26. I slowly started to make them fuller. Unfortunately all the years of tweezing, left my eyebrows pretty sparse.
From all the years of removing hair, I usually have to fill them in a little bit but past my arches....I hardly have any hair. They are still relatively thin but thanks to the brow pencil, I have fixed that.
Before the Brow Wiz came into existence, I would use brown powder to fill in my brows. However, I never could achieve the crisp straight lines, I wanted. I just looked like a powered mess!!
When I first started using the Brow Wiz, I would still fill in my eyebrows with powder and outline my eyebrows with the pencil. It was great. Now, I don't have time to switch between the two and use ONLY the Brow Wiz. Especially with the spooley on one end, everything just blends in from the grooming!
The Brow wiz is an ultra slim mechanical pencil that is used to define, outline and fill in your brows. The tip somehow applies as the appearance of tiny hairs naturally....which make it super easy to fill in those sparse areas.
There are I believe 9 different colors. I use the dark brown and it is an exact match. The cost of a pencil is $21.00. The size is 0.003 oz. It usually lasts me about a month. It is not made with parabens, sulfates and phthalates. I wish it weren't so expensive however I can't stop buying it because it works SO WELL!!! Hoping to find a cheaper dupe for it! Crossing my fingers!!
This is me with my eyebrows filled in. This is how I do my eyebrows on a normal basis. I get compliments on them all the time and people ask me how I do them so nicely. It definitely is easier using Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz!

My skin is similar to that of an alligator. Ok, maybe not an alligator. Maybe like a lizard. Fine, it's just seriously dry. I have dry skin all year long BUT in the winter, it is so bad I get patches of dry skin on my face and my lids. It looks so horrible. Not to mention itches. I do get an occasional blemish but for the most part, it's just very dry.
I have been trying quite a bit of products since mid-October to get my skin as hydrated as possible. I have used drug store products but mostly high-end products because...well, let's face it-most people think if I'm paying this much, it MUST work. Every time I went in Sephora or Ulta or a salon, I would spend hours looking, reading, asking about each product. What I wanted was to actually CHANGE my skin. I didn't want to put something on to keep it hydrated for most of the day so at least I wouldn't scratch my face almost off! I wanted something or something(s) that would ACTUALLY change my skin from dry to normal.
Without going through my skin routine right now, (I will in a later blog) I found a great cocktail of products that seem to be really working. Now that I got that out of the way, I wanted a foundation that would complete my cocktail. I didn't want to look older or for the foundation to lay on my face like it was still dry!
I saw an ad in Allure magazine for the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue. I then went onto their website to read what they had to say. This is what they claim: "Powerful hydration meets radiant, healthy-looking coverage." Alright, so it's powerfully hydrating huh? "They also said it's a 215% increase in skin hydration after just 1 week!" Only 1 week??!?! Oh, now you have my attention.
So I know a lot of foundations I've liked didn't have a great selection in shades. So I figure I better check out the shades. I decided to go into Ulta and see for myself. As I walked to the round table of all the shades on display, I see that they have 10 shades. Very pretty shades I may add. I test a few on the back of my hand. Wait! Gel??? Oh my, it felt so nice rubbing into the back of my hand. This is definitely sheer to medium coverage.
The picture above is a picture of my shade which is Buttercream 03. It is for Light skin with a golden tone. Which I have quite a bit. It comes out gel-ish. I really like how it looks.
This is the foundation rubbed in just a little bit. It felt so creamy and it will leave a dewy, natural-looking-radiant glow. I just love how it feels!
After I rubbed it in completely, my skin looked and felt great. It definitely looked and felt dewy. This was purchased and when I got home I had to clean my face and apply. I've been using it ever since. It has been 2 weeks now. I still love it. Has it changed my dry skin? No. However it has helped. I don't have flakes on my skin due to my skin care but now with the foundation on, my face looks radiant.
Here are some facts you may want to know about this foundation. These are taken right off the website. What is inside this foundation are mineral electrolyte complex whish is known to help replenish and energize skin. It has an effective amount of antioxidants in it. Olive-derived squalane, marine botanicals and water-loving humectants trehalose and glycerin help keep skin replenished and hydrated, while unique water-encapsulations give skin that instant burst of hydration. Also there is SPF 30 in it! Yay!!
Now, it DOESN'T have the following in it. (Which is just as important as what IS in it.) No silicone, no oil, no parabens, and no fragrance. It is clinically tested. Dermatologist tested. Non-Comedogenic. Hypoallergenic.
The cost is $29.00 for 1.18 fl. oz. I use it with a beauty blender, not the smooth face brush they want you to use with it, that they sell. I love the beauty blender with it. My face looks like its glowing from within!! Thank YOU, BareMinerals!!!

I have found a little slice of Heaven. It is all because of a very cherished face brush. This brush has surpassed ALL other foundation brushes by far. It is the Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki brush. The F80 Brush features a flat top brush head with very soft and dense fibers. It feels amazing on the face.
The brush blends liquids or creams without any absorption of product. Giving you a high definition finish, that I love more than anything else about the F80 brush. Using this brush to apply your foundation will save you product and save you money.
Sigma offers two colors. The first is the Chrome Brush (which I own) and the price is $24.00. The other is the Copper Brush and the price is $28.00.
The bristles are amazing. "The brush is made of Sigmax synthetic fibers. Which actually are made with a special thermoplastic engineering polymer and SigmaAlloy™ 3-ring brush ferrules are made with copper and zinc". (as quoted from the Sigma website) In other words...the bristles are freaking amazing, feeling lovely on your skin and buffing that foundation onto your face in some serious high definition feature!!
As far as Sigma as a company, I must tell you a short story. I had purchased the brush and used it maybe about 10 times and decided to wash the brush. I used Bobbi Brown brush cleaner. I've used that particular cleaner on all my brushes a zillion times. For some reason, the glue started to un-glue. Which led my brush to fall apart. I was DEVASTATED! I immediately contact Sigma's customer service by email. They responded that same day. They requested that I email them a picture of my receipt, which I did within minutes of receiving their email. The next day I received an emailing telling me that they would be sending out another brush free of charge. Within 7 days, I had my new brush!! (see picture above) I've used it about 30 times, washed it about 6 times....and it's perfect! Yay!! Sigma really stepped up and made a beauty addict, super proud!!

My first review is on the Admiration Lashes, by Oh My, Lash! They are my favorite of the set I recently got. I believe it's because they are dramatically natural. Does that make sense? LOL. They are super long (only women DREAM of having lashes this long) but yet they aren't "way too much".
I first sized them to my eyes and I needed to cut just a very tiny edge off. Perfect! I used DUO eyelash adhesive in the color Dark-Tone and applied it to the lash. I allowed it to bet a little tacky. I also used a tweezer to grab the lash and apply it to the center of my lash line. Perfect! On, on the first try!!! Then, the outer corner, I pressed close as I could to my lash line and then I pressed to the inner corner. WHAT?!?!? All this, in one try?!?!? Yesssss! Oh My, Lash!, you are so close to making my entire WEEK!
So then, I did my other eye the same exact way...except...I'm thinking there is NO WAY I can do THAT again! To my surprise, it happened...AGAIN! I literally sat there staring at myself in my mirror, waiting for....something to happen...and nothing did! Yes!! Oh My, Lash!, you have seriously make my week.
Now, normally lashes aren't shaped very well to bend to MY eye shape, I find. I hate most lashes and end up giving them away because they wont conform to my shape. Even bending it and trying to re-mold it, it just looks horrible! I don't understand it. I don't know why. It is just a problem I seem to find time and time again. But not with Oh My, Lash's! Admiration lashes.
The price for all their lashes are amazing and the Admiration lashes are no exception. The website is hassle-free. I had no trouble trying to navigate or find products. The shipping was fast and shipped well. I was very pleased with how they arrived to my home.
I've never had to call their customer service department, but I've emailed them a few times with questions and they responded in the same day! Always helpful and polite. That alone, will keep me coming back for more. Great Service!
So the lashes themselves are made 100% Hand Crafted. The Admiration lashes are 100% Synthetic, yet they looked and felt real. They felt great on my eyes. They didn't irritate them or make my eyes feel "weird". Neither of them broke, unraveled, or tore when I took them on their tray or off my eyes at the end of the day. These lashes are made wonderfully. I love them!!
To wrap up my review, check out my pics. I tried to look relaxed but I was too excited! Couldn't believe they went on my eyes perfectly and so easily!! I wanted to scream for joy.
